BERKELEY MINERAL RESOURCES PLC

("BMR" or the "Company")

Suspension

Further to the announcement of Alex Borrelli as Chairman of the Company on 23 October 2014, certain material concerns have come to light as to the classification and valuation of approximately GBP4.3 million of prepayment for non-current assets as at 31 December 2013. The Company has instructed independent accountants and lawyers to investigate the circumstances underlying these concerns.

The Company has therefore sought and obtained the permission of AIM for trading in its securities on AIM to be suspended forthwith.

The Company has cash balances of approximately GBP600,000 which represents adequate working capital for its immediate requirements.
