100% of Benihana Roll Proceeds through October to Benefit UNICEF
MIAMI, Oct. 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, Benihana Inc. (NASDAQ:BNHNNASDAQ:andNASDAQ:BNHNA) is continuing to support those children affected by the Hurricane's devastation with a 100 percent donation of Benihana Roll sales nationally throughout the month of October to the United States Fund for UNICEF's recovery efforts for Hurricane victims.
To demonstrate Benihana's goodwill for the people and the communities that have been touched, all 72 Benihana restaurants will continue to raise money for relief through the month. Kevin Aoki, Benihana vice president of marketing, said UNICEF was selected based on its strong history of supporting vulnerable children in need, without regard for border or class.
