SAN FRANCISCO (Thomson Financial) - Benihana Inc. late Monday said its
fiscal third-quarter same-store sales rose 1.5%.
Total restaurant sales for the 12-week period ended Jan. 6 increased 12.1%
to $69.4 million from $61.9 million in the year earlier.
The Miami-based Japanese-themed restaurant chain's shares closed the regular
session down 21 cents at $9.52.
