NEW YORK (Thomson Financial) - Bebe Stores Inc. Thursday said second-quarter
same-store sales fell 7.9% compared with an increase of 5.5% a year earlier.
Sales for the quarter rose 3% to $201.9 million from $196.2 million a year
earlier, falling short of the mean estimate of analysts polled by Thomson
Financial for sales of $214.1 million.
Bebe shares closed at $11.82 on Wednesday.
