LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Baydonhill PLC saw its first-half loss widen on
continued investment in product offering, but said it is confident of achieving
objectives including a monthly break-even position.
For the period to end-September, the company reported pretax loss of 845,967
stg compared with a loss of 219,915 stg, while revenue rose to about 131.67 mln
stg from 128.27 mln stg.
Cost of sales came in at 130.67 mln stg as against 127.10 mln stg, while
administrative expenses increased to about 1.94 mln stg from about 1.49 mln stg.
The company added that full revenue impact of its online trading platform,
which became active at end-November, will not be realised until the fiscal year
2008-09.
