LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Babcock International Group PLC said it won a
submarine support service contract from the Canadian government worth up to 750
million pounds.
The initial contract is for five years and is expected to be worth around
125 million pounds to Babcock. Should Canada utilize its options to extend the
contract to 15 years, the total contract value to Babcock expected to be in the
region of 750 million pounds, Babcock said.
