MADRID (Thomson Financial) - Bolsas y Mercados Espanoles SA said equity
trading volumes fell 5.5 percent in April from a year earlier to 116 billion
euros.
Equity trading volumes rose 22 percent in April from March, BME said.
On April 30, BME announced a preliminary 2.3 percent decline in April
trading volumes to 100 billion euros.
In the first four months of year, the stock market operator's trading
volumes fell 7.7 percent from a year earlier to 499.21 billion euros.
