Investment Trust plc) ("the Company")

                                CHANGE OF NAME

The Company announces that, following shareholder approval at the Annual
General Meeting on the 21st August 2014, its name change has become effective.
A Change of Name Certificate has been received from Companies House and the
Company will now begin trading under its new name, Blue Planet Investment Trust
plc (Ticker: BLP).
