LONDON (Thomson Financial) - UK natural gas producer BG Plc. said it has
held ongoing discussions with senior representatives of Australia's Origin
Energy Ltd. since its original offer approach on April 30, but added the talks
have so far been "inconclusive."
Last month BG Group made a takeover bid for Origin Energy of A$14.70
($13.71) a share, valuing Origin Energy at around A$12.9 billion.
