The Company has been notified that, today, the following Non-Executive Directors acquired the number of BG Group plc ordinary shares (Shares) shown against their name at a price of GBP8.242 per Share.

These purchases have been made through the Non-Executive Directors' share purchase programme, through which Non-Executive Directors may elect to invest a proportion of their fees to acquire Shares. These purchases took place on the London Stock Exchange.
