LONDON -(Dow Jones)- BG Group PLC (BG.LN) will submit a new development plan for phase three of the Karachaganak gas and condensate field to the government of Kazakhstan this year, Chief Executive Frank Chapman said Wednesday.
BG and its partners in the field decided to slow the pace of development of the third phase last year to take advantage of falling costs.
The project will probably be broken down into four stages of a more manageable size, given resource constraints within Kazakhstan, Chapman said.
