SAN FRANCISCO (Thomson Financial) - Avocent Corp. late Monday named Michael
Borman as chief executive, effective July 15.
Borman was also elected as a member of the companys board. He most recently
served as vice president of worldwide sales, IBM Software Group.
Shares of Huntsville, Ala.-based Avocent, a maker of computer hardware and
software products, closed at $22.79.
