- Site load time. The site should be able to fully load
without error in a matter of seconds. If the site takes longer than
three seconds to load, most people will bounce from the page.

properly," he says
- The quality of the content. Each page should contain
relevant, high quality content that links to appropriate keywords.
"Too much or too little content could have an adverse effect. A
decent amount would be around 300- 500 words," he explains.
- Proper indexing capability. "Be sure that you enable
robots to index your site," Johnson says. "Most developers know
this and it should be included in your websites coding. However,
it's always good to make sure the setting is enabled in an
audit."
- Clear meta descriptions and title tags. Meta
descriptions and title tags should be keyword-rich and speak to the
content on that landing page," he says. "Often times, websites do
not rank as high when their titles, keywords, and meta descriptions
don't match."
- The number of page errors. "With larger websites, you're
bound to run into some problems," he concludes. "Check for broken
links, such as 404 errors, 301 redirects, and internal server
errors. An abundance of these links could force Google to flag your
site, which is never good for websites hoping to increase
conversion."
