The Australian dollar erased its early Friday Asian session gains against most major currencies. The aussie thus eased from a 2-day high against the yen and a 1-week high against the euro.

As of now, the aussie is worth 0.9745 against the US dollar, 1.2867 against the euro, 1.0020 against the Canadian dollar and 77.68 against the yen.
