Appointment of Nick Candy as non-executive Director
Audioboom (AIM: BOOM), the leading spoken-word audio on-demand
mobile platform, announces the appointment of Nick Candy as a
non-executive Director to the board of Audioboom with immediate
effect.
Nick Candy is co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Candy
& Candy Limited, one of the world's foremost luxury real estate
designers, whose projects include One Hyde Park in London.
He is taken to be beneficially interested in 15,650,000 ordinary
shares in the Company (representing approximately 2.9 per cent of
the issued share capital). In addition, rather than taking a fee
for his services as a Director of the Company, he has today been
granted warrants to subscribe for 12,000,000 ordinary shares in the
Company with an exercise price of 8.375 pence per ordinary share.
50% of the warrants are unconditional; 50% are conditional on the
satisfaction of certain performance criteria. The warrants shall
become exercisable 12 months from grant and shall lapse 4 years
from grant if not exercised.
