Atlantic Coal, the AIM listed opencast anthracite coal production and processing company with primary activities in Pennsylvania, USA, announces that on 9 April 2015 the board approved the dematerialisation by Peter Chinneck, a non-executive Director of the Company, of 25,000,000 ordinary shares in the capital of the Company (the "Shares") from a share certificate in his name to his nominee account at Brewin 1762 Nominees Ltd.

Peter Chinneck's beneficial interest in the Shares has not changed as a result of this dematerialisation and remains 250,051,282 ordinary shares, representing 5.34% of the Company's issued share capital.
