LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Associated British Foods PLC. said it has
appointed Charles Sinclair as an independent non-executive director, with effect
from Oct. 1. Sinclair is currently chief executive of Daily Mail and General
Trust plc but will be retiring from this role and the board on the Sept. 30.
