Arrow to Become First Distributor Managing Resellers for SAS® Products

Arrow Electronics, Inc. (NYSE: ARW) is now the first company to
sign a distributor-managed reseller agreement with SAS Institute,
Inc.
SAS is a leader in business analytics software and services, and
the largest independent vendor in the business intelligence market,
with more than 70,000 sites in nearly 140 countries, including 91
of the top 100 companies listed in the Fortune Global 500.
Effective immediately, SAS is making its products and solutions
available to customers worldwide through Arrow Enterprise Computing
Solutions’ network of authorized resellers in North America,
Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

president of enterprise servers, systems and software for Arrow.

The agreement between Arrow and SAS has already yielded
immediate results. ICC, an Arrow solution provider, is working with
a leading health care analytics provider to implement several SAS
solutions. The health care analytics provider selected ICC because
of the firm’s expertise in foundational data management and
predictive analytics.
