Appointment of Group Chief Executive Officer
The Board of Bartercard is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrew
Federowsky as Group Chief Executive Officer. Andrew will also retain his current
role as Managing Director of Bartercard International.
Andrew is a co-founder of Bartercard and has been integral in the development of
many of the systems and procedures which form the Bartercard Trading system.
From 1991 to 1995, he was Managing Director of Alphagaze Pty. Ltd, which became
Bartercard's most successful franchise, before taking over as the Managing
Director of Bartercard Australia. Andrew was able to expand Bartercard from 8 to
30 offices, earning Bartercard the title of the largest Trade Exchange in the
world.
Commenting on the appointment, Wayne Sharpe, Chairman of Bartercard, said:
"As one of the co-founders of Bartercard, Andrew knows all aspects of the
business intimately. As head of Bartercard International, he has led our drive
in to new territories across the globe, and has been almost solely responsible
for the expansion in the Middle East. He has strong relationships with our
international licensees, and will be instrumental in taking Bartercard through
its next stage of growth."
