ANNUAL INFORMATION UPDATE (AIU)
FOR GLANBIA plc
IN COMPLIANCE WITH PART 11 OF THE PROSPECTUS (DIRECTIVE 2003/71/EC) REGULATIONS 2005 (S.I. NO. 324 OF 2005)
Introduction
Glanbia plc (the "Company") published its Annual Report for the year ended 31 December 2011 on 5 April 2012. This annual information document has been prepared by the Company in accordance with the provisions of Part 11 of the Prospectus (Directive 2003/71/EC) Regulations 2005 (S.I. No 324 of 2005) and has been filed with the Central Bank of Ireland (the "Central Bank") in accordance with the provisions of the Prospectus Rules issued by the Central Bank. The Company is also publishing the AIU via a Regulatory Information Service today, 23 April 2012, and making it available in the Investors section of its website, www.glanbia.com, under Regulatory News and Alerts, and is not relying solely on the Central Bank to fulfil its obligation to publish the AIU in accordance with the provisions of Part 11 of the Prospectus (Directive 2003/71/EC) Regulations 2005 (S.I. No. 324 of 2005).
