BRUSSELS -- Anheuser Busch InBev (ABI.BT) on Thursday reported its net profit inched up in the fourth quarter, as stronger performance in the U.S. helped offset the impact of a stronger dollar.

The world's largest brewer said net profit for the quarter was $2.53 billion, up from $2.52 billion. Revenue for the quarter was $12 billion, slightly topping analyst expectations of $11.86 billion.

AB InBev said sales in the U.S. rose slightly, reversing a trend of falling revenue in its largest market.
