NEW YORK, Dec. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- The American Stock Exchange(R) (Amex(R)) today announced that Van Eck Global has launched its sixth ETF on the Exchange: Market Vectors-Lehman Brothers AMT-Free Intermediate Municipal Index ETF (AMEX:ITM).

ITM aims to track the Lehman Brothers AMT-Free Intermediate Continuous Municipal Index which is a market size weighted index comprised of publicly traded municipal bonds that cover the U.S. dollar denominated intermediate term tax exempt bond market. It is a total return benchmark designed for high quality and tax-efficient investments. The Index has four main sectors: state and local general obligation bonds, revenue bonds, insured bonds, and pre-refunded bonds.
