has selected MTS software as its platform for noise and vibration testing
worldwide. Under the agreement, MTS will outfit AAM's Technical Center and
various manufacturing and quality facilities with its I-DEAS Test software
along with instrumentation from National Instruments (NASDAQ:NATI), as well as
provide AAM a seamless transition to future products as they are released.
MTS and National Instruments together provide a low-cost framework for global
deployment of automated processes for executing standardized noise and
vibration testing procedures. These are highly valued in automotive driveline
NVH applications.
