Company, a subsidiary of Ameren Corporation (NYSE: AEE), announced
today the pricing of a public offering of $240 million aggregate principal amount of its
4.15% senior secured notes due 2046 at 102.753% of their principal
amount. The senior secured notes will be a further issuance
of Ameren Illinois' 4.15% senior secured notes due 2046 issued on
Dec. 14, 2015 in the aggregate
principal amount of $250 million. The
transaction is expected to close on Dec. 6,
2016.
Ameren Illinois intends to use the net proceeds of the offering
to repay outstanding short-term debt.
