   Dividend Declaration 
 
   Alliance Trust PLC announces the declaration of a first interim dividend 
for the year ending 31 December 2015 of 2.5325 pence per share payable 
on 30 June 2015 to shareholders on the register on 5 June 2015. The 
ex-dividend date is 4 June 2015. 
 
   The dividend is in line with that indicated in our Annual Report and 
Accounts for the year ended 31 December 2014. In the absence of any 
unforeseen developments, the Board expects to be able to recommend a 
second interim dividend of at least that amount, payable on or around 30 
September 2015. 
 
   The Directors have previously declared and announced a special dividend 
for the year ended 31 December 2014 of 2.546 pence per share. This 
dividend is also payable on 30 June 2015 to shareholders on the register 
on 5 June 2015. The ex-dividend date is 4 June 2015.
