SEATTLE, Nov. 16, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Alaska Airlines is expanding its Seattle hub with new service from Seattle to Charleston, South Carolina. Charleston is the seventh new city the carrier has added this year, following last month's start of service from Seattle to Raleigh/Durham. A popular destination for both business and pleasure, Charleston has rich history while being a major business hub for companies worldwide.

In celebration, introductory one-way fares start at $159 to Charleston and are on sale at www.alaskaair.com.* Tickets must be purchased by Nov. 19 and travel completed by March 9, 2016.

Flights will be operated by fuel-efficient Next Generation 737 aircraft.
