Akzo Nobel Names Thierry Vanlancker as Head of Specialty Chemicals

LONDON--Akzo Nobel N.V. (AKZA.AE) said Thursday that it has
named Thierry F.J. Vanlancker as the head of specialty chemicals
division, effective Feb. 1, 2017.
The paints and coatings company said Mr. Vanlancker will succeed
Werner Fuhrmann, who has decided to retire from the company next
year. Mr. Vanlancker was most recently president of Fluoroproducts
for Chemours, the spin-off company of DuPont's chemical businesses
formed in 2015.
