Filing of Supplement to Form S-3 Registration Statement
Akers Biosciences, Inc. (NASDAQ: AKER) (AIM: AKR.L), ("Akers
Bio" or the "Company"), a developer of rapid health information
technologies, announces that, further to the S-3 Registration
Statement filing announced on October 25, 2016, the Company has
filed a preliminary prospectus supplement for a proposed equity
fundraising.
Akers Bio currently intends to use the net proceeds from the
proposed equity fundraising for growth and working capital,
including introducing new products to the market, fulfilling future
purchase orders, expanding research and development initiatives and
for other general corporate purposes.
The Company has not yet determined the quantum or price of the
proposed equity fundraising. A further announcement will be made
when appropriate.
