partnership with Intel to integrate Intel® Identity Protection
Technology (Intel® IPT) with AhnLab Online Security(AOS) solution.
Through their collaboration, the companies today unveiled ‘AOS
SecureAuth IPT’ technology, which enables multi-factor authentication
for consumers and all size of businesses including internet banking.

By providing the multi-factor authentication, leveraging username and
password, OTP (One-Time Password), and device (trusted PC)
authentication, ‘AOS SecureAuth IPT’ offers the highest level of
security and convenience of logging into banking or other internet
services with end to end protection, from your PC to authentication
server. With this technology, the users can safely and easily log on
their internet based services.
(Intel® IPT) is a tamper-resistant, two-factor authentication technology
which is offered on Ultrabook™ devices with third generation Intel®
Core™ technology (code named "Ivy Bridge"). It helps prevent
unauthorized access to your important personal and business accounts
while reducing the cost of traditional hardware solutions. It also
provides a simple way for web sites and businesses to validate that a
user is logging in from a trusted PC.
Based on Intel® IPT, AOS SecureAuth IPT not only provides strong
authentication, but increases user convenience. As it generates OPT
automatically from an embedded processor – in Ultrabook™ PCs–, users
don’t need to input additional OTP to login. AhnLab also offers
automatic hardware-based OTP generating technology for non-IPT or
Ultrabook™ environment.
