   Admiral Group plc (the "Company")

   This disclosure relates to transactions of which notification is 
required under DTR 3.1.2 and Article 19 of the Market Abuse Regulation. 
 
   On 10 October 2013, the following individuals were awarded shares under 
the Company's Discretionary Free Share Scheme: 
 
 
   -- Geraint Jones (Chief Financial Officer). 
 
   -- Kevin Chidwick (Chief Executive Officer of the Group's US direct 
      insurance business, Elephant Auto), a person discharging managerial 
      responsibility within the Company. 
 
   -- Emily Chidwick-Wood (a Person Closely Associated to Kevin Chidwick). 
 
   -- Milena Mondini de Focatiis (Head of European Insurance), a person 
      discharging managerial responsibility within the Company. 
 
   -- Cristina Nestares (Head of Motor UK) a person discharging managerial 
      responsibility within the Company. 
 
 
   100% of the award for Kevin Chidwick and 50% of the awards for Emily 
Chidwick-Wood, Geraint Jones, Milena Mondini de Focatiis and Cristina 
Nestares were subject to Company's performance conditions from 1 January 
2013 to 31 December 2015. 
 
   On 17 October 2016, the Company was notified of the following 
transactions: 
 
 
   -- Geraint Jones was awarded 16,000 shares, of which 11,040 have vested in 
      accordance with the Company's performance conditions at 69%. 11,040 
      shares were sold on between 10 and 13 October 2016 at GBP20.174 and none 
      have been retained. 
 
   -- Kevin Chidwick was awarded 52,250 shares, of which 19,855 have vested in 
      accordance with the Company's performance conditions at 38%. 14,892 
      shares were sold between 10 and 13 October 2016 at GBP20.174 and 4,963 
      have been retained. 
 
   -- Emily Chidwick-Wood was awarded 350 shares, of which 254 have vested in 
      accordance with the Company's performance conditions at 72.6%.  All of 
      the 254 shares have been retained. 
 
   -- Milena Mondini de Focatiis was awarded 15,000 shares, of which 10,350 
      have vested in accordance with the Company's performance conditions at 
      69%. 4,865 were sold between 10 and 13 October 2016 at GBP20.174 and 
      5,485 have been retained. 
 
   -- Cristina Nestares was awarded 25,000 shares, of which 17,250 have vested 
      in accordance with the Company's performance conditions at 69%. 17,250 
      were sold between 10 and 13 October 2016 at GBP20.174 and none been 
      retained.
