    Listing Application

    Venture Production Plc (the "Company")

    

A block listing application has been made for 54,500 ordinary shares of 0.4p each in the
Company to be admitted to the Official List of the
UK Listing Authority and admitted to trading on the London Stock Exchange. The shares will be
issued fully paid and will rank pari passu in
all respects with the existing issued ordinary shares of the Company. This listing increases
the number of shares under the existing block
by 54,500 shares, originally submitted on 16th March 2007, to 2,816,000, which reflects the
number of options outstanding under the scheme.
 
    The shares will be issued pursuant to the exercise of options granted under the following
schemes: The listing is expected to be
effective on 16th July 2008.
