MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., July 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Actel Corporation (NASDAQ: ACTL) today announces its participation at the IEEE Nuclear and Space Radiation Effects Conference (NSREC). NSREC is the annual meeting of engineers and scientists where the latest techniques are presented for enhancing the performance of microelectronic devices and circuits used in radiation environments. The conference will feature technical program sessions describing the latest observations in radiation effects, a short course on radiation effects, a radiation effects data workshop, and an industrial exhibit providing the latest information on nuclear and space radiation effects on electronic and photonic materials, devices, circuits, and systems, and the engineering of radiation-tolerant devices and integrated circuits.
Actel's presentation will cover single-event transient (SET) propagation in 90-nm test structures such as ASICs and FPGAs. Radiation and SET fault injection tests show a clear distortion of the SET pulse-widths related to design and layout of the structure.
Topic: Design and Layout Effects on SET Propagation in ASIC and FPGA 90-nm Test Structures Date: Friday, July 24, 2009
Time: 11:45 a.m. Location: NSREC, Quebec City, Canada The NSREC 2009 Industrial Exhibit will be held in Quebec City at the Hilton Quebec City and the Quebec City Convention Centre on July 20-24, 2009. Please visit Actel at booth 313 for more information.
