NEW YORK (Thomson Financial) - Accenture Monday said it would buy ATAN, a
privately-held industrial information technology company.
Terms of the agreement weren't disclosed. Accenture said the deal would
enhance its capabilities in management consulting, systems integration and
technology consulting within in the metals, mining, energy and utilities
industries.
The deal is expected to close within 60 days.
Shares of Accenture closed Friday at $38.28.
