SAN FRANCISCO (Thomson Financial) - Acadia Pharmaceuticals Inc. late
Wednesday reported a fourth-quarter net loss of $17 million, or 46 cents a
share, compared with a net loss of $12.5 million, or 42 cents a share, during
the year earlier.
The San Diego-based biopharmaceutical company posted collaborative revenue
for the three months ended Dec. 31 of $1.58 million versus $1.77 million last
year.
The mean estimate of analysts polled by Thomson Financial was for a
per-share loss of 46 cents on revenue of $2.47 million.
Acadia said its cash, cash equivalents, and investment securities totaled
$126.9 million as of Dec. 31 compared with $83.3 million in the previous year.
The company's stock closed the regular session down 3 cents at $9.30.
