NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. (AP) - Acacia Research Corp. said Monday its
Telematics Corp. unit settled a lawsuit with United Parcel Service Inc. related
to tracking vehicles on a map.
The lawsuit was pending in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District
of Georgia.
A representative for United Parcel Service was not immediately available for
comment.
Acacia's Research's divisions buy, develop and license patented
technologies.
