Cambridge, U.K. - AVEVA Group plc ("AVEVA"; stock code: AVV), one of the world's leading providers of engineering data and design IT systems, confirms that as previously announced on 8 July 2016, James Kidd, Deputy Chief Executive, has been appointed Chief Executive with effect from 1 January 2017.

Also as previously announced, Richard Longdon has stepped down from his role as Chief Executive and as a Director of the Company with effect from 31 December 2016. Richard has been appointed to the role of President for a period of 12 months during which time he will be a representative and ambassador for the Company providing valuable insight about the market and our customers.
