BOSTON (Thomson Financial) - AK Steel Holding Corp. Thursday said it plans
to add a $905 per ton surcharge to invoices for electrical steel products
shipped in August 2008.
The West Chester, Ohio-based company said the surcharges are based on
reported prices for raw materials and energy used to manufacture the products.
Shares of AK Steel closed Wednesday at $56.65.
