AGM Trading Update
At the Annual General Meeting held at noon today, William Rollason, Chief
Executive of European Home Retail plc the home shopping specialist, gave the
following trading update:
"Further to our Preliminary Results announced on 6 July, turnover at Kleeneze
Europe for the first four months of the financial year remains ahead of last
year and further expansion in Continental Europe is planned for 2006.
The outsourcing of Farepak's hamper production is generating the expected
benefits.
As we approach our key Christmas trading period our Internet Retail business is
performing in line with our expectations.
At eeZee tv we are continuing to develop the format having now broadcast live
for six months.
Following the announcement of Chris Hulland's departure we expect to announce
the appointment of a new Finance Director before the end of 2005.
We continue to drive for growth at Kleeneze Europe and with our recent
acquisitions, both of which should enable us to capitalise on the potential of
the European home retail market."
