DataCash Group Plc ('the Company')
Ashley Head, Chairman of DataCash Group Plc, the AIM-listed payment service
provider, will make the following statement at the AGM to be held at 13.00
today, 10th June 2009:
"DataCash Group continues to make progress, transaction volumes continue to grow
and our first 5 months results were in line with the Board's expectations. Our
risk service offering has been strengthened by the acquisition of a 76% stake in
The 3rd Man in January, and this has assisted in the marketing efforts in both
Card Holder Present and Not Present negotiations. While the Company continues to
trade in line with the Board's expectations and has not seen any slowing in
volume growth, the Board is mindful of the difficult economic and trading
conditions. Considering the circumstances the Board remains optimistic of the
outlook for this year and beyond."
