Annual General Meeting Statement
Speaking at the company's Annual General Meeting to be held today, Roger Fidgen, Chairman of Waterman Group plc, a leading international
engineering and environmental consultant, will make the following comments in addition to the recent Interim Management Statement dated 17th
November 2008:
" Waterman Group continues to diversify its business around the globe and has recently secured several new projects and it is with great
pleasure that I can announce the following:
* In Russia we have been appointed as lead engineering consultant by IKEA to work on their expansion programme.
* In Dublin we have been appointed as lead consultant on the implementation of the Docklands Rapid Transit bus system.
* In Guernsey we are providing masterplanning advice on the 16 acre Saltpans site.
* In Abu Dhabi we are planning the Facilities Management strategy for a portfolio of over 2,000 government owned buildings.
* In Brussels we have commenced detailed design on the 30,000 sqm Flemish Parliament offices.
" To conclude, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our staff and shareholders for their contribution during the last
financial year and we look forward to giving an update on progress at our half year results in February 2009."
