STOCK EXCHANGE ANNOUNCEMENT
JPMORGAN FLEMING MERCANTILE INVESTMENT TRUST PLC
ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
The Board is pleased to announce that all of the resolutions put to shareholders
at today's Annual General Meeting were passed, including the following Special
Resolutions which:
1) will allow the Company to make market purchases of up to 15,612,430 ordinary
shares representing 14.99% of the Company's issued share capital;
2) will allow the Company to change its name to 'The Mercantile Investment Trust
plc'.
3) will allow the Company to adopt new Articles of Association.
The change of Company name will become effective on the issue of the certificate
of incorporation on change of name by the Registrar of Companies and a further
announcement will follow in this respect.
