ABM Awarded Integrated Facility Solutions Contract by Harley-Davidson
February 10 2015 - 5:00PM
ABM (NYSE:ABM), a leading provider of facility
solutions, has been awarded a multi-phased, integrated facility
solutions contract by Harley-Davidson Motor Company.
Under the terms of the multi-year contract, ABM's Facility
Services business has taken on a consultative role in phase one of
the agreement. ABM's team is working on-site at
Harley-Davidson's Milwaukee-based corporate headquarters and at its
Wauwatosa-based product development center - where the company's
motorcycles are designed and tested – to immerse itself in
Harley-Davidson's culture. The goal in phase one is to
identify opportunities to reduce operating expenses while helping
ensure Harley-Davidson's facility services are performed in a
world-class fashion.
"We are excited to begin working with Harley-Davidson, a name
that has stood the test of time," said ABM Facility Services
President Mike Latham. "We realized early on in our
discussions with Harley-Davidson that it was important to them to
partner with a company who understands their culture
implicitly. This is a measured approach and one we've
successfully partnered on with other clients. This innovative,
mutually beneficial agreement speaks to ABM's confidence in our
ability to deliver real value for Harley-Davidson."
