Cambridge, UK: Abcam plc (AIM: ABC), a global leader in the supply of life science research tools, has today been notified that on 11 November 2015, Jim Warwick, Chief Operating Officer, exercised Nil Cost Options over 72,000 Ordinary Shares of 0.2 pence each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares"). All shares exercised have been retained and have been transferred to Mr Warwick.

Following this transaction, Mr Warwick's total interest in the Company has increased by 72,000 Ordinary Shares to a total of 2,946,203 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 1.47% of the Company's issued share capital. For further information please contact:
