LONDON (Thomson Financial) - 888 Holdings Plc. said second quarter net
gaming revenue increased 33 percent to $67 million, a 4 percent increase on the
first quarter.
Total operating income increased 36 percent to $69 million, a 5 percent
increase on the first quarter, it added.
The online gaming specialist said that the third quarter had started well,
with net gaming revenue in the first 22 days of July approximately 2 percent
higher than the second quarter driven by a higher emerging offering and poker.
It said it is confident of delivering future growth during 2008.
