Item 2.05.
COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH EXIT OR DISPOSAL ACTIVITIES
On February 11, 2016, Westell Technologies, Inc. (the “Company”) approved a restructuring plan to bring operating costs and expenses in-line with anticipated business volumes. The Company expects restructuring activities to be substantially completed by June 1, 2016. Westell expects pre-tax charges of approximately $1.0 million, consisting of $0.8 million of severance costs, $0.1 million of lease termination costs related to the design center in Canada, and $0.1 million of other associated costs, to be incurred primarily in the quarter ending on March 31, 2016. The Company anticipates annual cost and expense savings of approximately $4 million as a result of completing the restructuring activities and implementing other efficiencies.
