NEW YORK, Dec. 8, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Ogilvy Public Relations announced today that Dan Goodman has been appointed Senior Vice President of Business Development for North America based in New York. He will be in charge of identifying and driving new business growth for Ogilvy PR North America – working with the network's 8 offices across the region. Dan will report to Suresh Raj, Global Chief Business Development Officer who is also based in New York.

"Dan's business acumen will be instrumental in helping the company strengthen its North America offering, building a wider spectrum of business opportunities across the region, and ensuring business development focused activities to efficiently identify and secure potential leads," said Raj. Goodman joins Ogilvy PR from Newsweek, where he was in charge of identifying and establishing business opportunities to increase the company's visibility. Prior to working at Newsweek, Dan worked at Y&R, one of the world's leading full service advertising agencies and part of the WPP family where he oversaw global operations, developed new business initiatives, and identified revenue opportunities.
