LONDON--WPP PLC (WPP.LN) Thursday said it has invested in a U.S. company called Woven Digital Inc., a digital media firm which targets the millennial male market.

The communications services provider said Woven's clients include AB Inbev, AT&T, NBC Universal and the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

The investment is being made through WPP Ventures, a division based in Silicon Valley and explores investments in new technology companies, WPP said.

WPP didn't disclose the amount of the investment.

Shares at 1130 GMT down 12 pence, or 0.8%, at 1541 pence valuing the company at 19.82 billion pounds ($28.95 billion).
