NEW YORK, June 17, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Announced today, Ogilvy and Mather names Colin Drummond as Head of Planning New York to oversee brand strategy and continue to build upon the strong foundation of the agency's strategy department. He will report to Colin Mitchell, Worldwide Head of Planning.

Most recently, Drummond was Partner and Chief Strategy Officer of Deutsch LA, overseeing the agency's LA planning and strategy group and working with clients including Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, Volkswagen, Target and Dr Pepper Snapple Group.

This is Drummond's second stint at Ogilvy & Mather. Previously, he served as Chief Strategy Officer of Ogilvy & Mather in Los Angeles, leading strategic planning and positioning on American Express, Cisco, Beringer and ARCO, among others. Drummond has also held top strategy positions at Crispin Porter + Bogusky, Mullen and AKQA. His work has been recognized by Cannes Lions, Effies, One Club and CLIOs.
