LONDON--Advertising company WPP PLC (WPP.LN) said Friday that
its Chinese unit, Always Marketing Services, will acquire Singapore
based marketing company 3ree for an undisclosed sum.
3ree offers event management, sourcing and production of
marketing premiums, project management for exhibitions and
activations, and design and creative services.
Always Marketing, which is majority-owned by WPP's J. Walter
Thompson, offers trade marketing, retail marketing as well as
shopper marketing.
Shares of WPP at 0730 GMT trading 0.2% lower at 1,562 pence.
