LONDON--Advertising firm WPP PLC (WPP.LN) said Tuesday its wholly-owned operating company Brand Union, a branding and identity company, has bought 60% of Epigram in Brazil for an undisclosed sum.

Epigram offers a range of services including identity development, graphic design and packaging, architecture and retail space design.

Epigram's unaudited revenue for the year ended Dec. 31, 2013 was 8.4 million Brazilian Real ($3.73 million) with gross assets of BRR$1.5 million at the same date.

WPP shares at 0810 GMT down 2 pence, or 0.15%, at 1289 pence valuing the company at 16.98 billion pounds ($27.45 billion).
